Joan is a gifted psychic who
has experienced many strange experiences since
childhood. She has had many premonitions in the
form of dreams which have resulted in major events
such as the Lockerbie disaster and war planes
crashing at military events. Joan takes her gift
from her ancestors, firstly her gt gt gt gt gt
grandmother was one of the last to be burnt at
the stake in the Shetland Isles accused of witchcraft.
In fact the real reason for her demise was her
neighbour wanted her land!
Joan’s grandmother was also psychic having
read tea leaves for many people all over the
UK.
As a child Joan started using her gift reading
palms for friends and gradually progressed to
tarot cards later in life. She trained at a psychic
circle in Edinburgh and practiced with friends
and their friends until she became confident.
She has travelled to America to give readings
at a psychic fayre in New York State – the
only problem being people couldn’t understand
her because of her Scottish accent!
Joan now uses her talents at psychic fayres,
personal readings (group and individual). She
uses tarot cards, psychometry, palmistry and
she also interprets dreams.
Joan finds that a lot of her premonitions come
from within her own dreams and having graduated
with an honours degree in psychology she has
a deep understanding of the mind.
Joan is also undertaking counselling training
and in the future hopes to offer a full counselling
service.
Joan is also a keen genealogist having traced
her ancestry back to the 1500’s. Some of
her ancestors were Vikings and she feels a strong
link to her ancestry when she visits the Shetland
Isles.
Joan also offers help and advise in tracing family
